With rows of decorated tables, bunting and flags, this photograph shows Arthur Street residents celebrating VE Day in 1945.
Ex-Arthur Street resident Margaret Johnson, who supplied the photograph, was 11 when it was taken.
She said: "Every mother in the street cooked and baked, it was a whole street party. There was a feeling of relief among the mothers but for the children like me it was just a party. I think most streets in Kenilworth had a party like this one."
Margaret believes a professional photographer took this photograph among others to document the momentous occasion.
After leaving Arthur Street, Margaret lived in Shrewsbury and then went to Australia as a children's escort for Banardos. She now lives in Powys in Wales with her husband, but still has the Weekly News sent to her every week.
