Family get on its bike for carnival (March 2005)

Margaret Johnson who supplied the photograph believes it was taken in the 1930s but does not know the exact date.

It shows Mrs Johnson's grandfather leading a horse and cart, owned by the farmer he worked for in Leek Wooten.

The cart was used for the day to advertise the Priory Road cycle shop and its competition to win a Royal Enfield bike.

Mrs Johnson's grandfather led the horse throughout the town's streets for the summer event.

Mrs Johnson grew up in Kenilworth's Arthur Street and now lives in Powys, Wales with her husband.
