Andrew Whittington sent in this picture of his class from the early 1970s at Priorsfield School.
Mr Whittington's year would have been one of the last to be educated in the original Victorian building in School Lane before it was demolished to make way for the new fire station. The school itself moved to Clinton Lane.
Priorsfield began as St Nicholas School, and Mr Whittington remembers an Australian curate still living next door to the school, and trooping down to the church for Christmas carol services. He remembers the teaching itself, administered by Mrs Ecclestone, owing something to the austere environment.
Mr Whittington said: "The school itself was quite old fashioned. It had been there since the 1800s so all the surroundings were quite old. Compared to schools today it was probably far stricter. We didn't dare misbehave."
Mr Whittington has since moved to Evesham, but would like to hear from anyone who was in that class, and who can help fill in the gaps in his memory for names.
He said: "I remember about a third of them. I'd be interested if any of them still live in Kenilworth."
