A new business consultancy is bucking the downturn and expanding its staff.
Newleaf Consulting of Haseley Business Centre, Hatton, was established in October last year. It is a specialist business transformation, recruitment and HR consultancy.

The Newleaf team have proved so successful in the first few months that they have been hot on the recruitment trail themselves.

Sue Bradnock, an established executive search and selection executive, has joined the company.

After working on her own for 15 years, Sue has decided to branch out and join Newleaf.

Prior to switching to the other side of the desk, Sue had worked as a human resources director with major international corporations.

She is married to Coventry solicitor Rob Fardoe and has six-year-old triplets who attend All Saints’ School at Leek Wootton.

Sue said: “I was attracted to Newleaf because of their ethics, energy and enterprise. “realised that in the current economic climate joining forces with a larger organisation was a positive step. I feel that the skills I bring complement the attributes of the rest of the team.

“It might seem like an unlikely time to establish a business for whom recruitment is a key business stream but Newleaf has a refreshingly different approach.

“Their clients choose them because they work in true strategic partnership with them, building capability and improving bottom line performance.
