SCHOOLS in Leamington have launched a new gallery to showcase and develop the talents of artistic pupils.

SWiRLS Charitable Trust, made of a cluster of schools in the South of the town and based at Campion School, opened Platform 4 at the Creative Arches Project in Court Street last month.

The gallery’s first exhibition Retold, is based on the theme ‘many voices one world’

Working with selected classes from each school, artists Denise Stanton helped to create 14 fabulous and inspirational sculptural pieces of artwork.

Warwick District Council chairman Michael Kinson attended the launch and admired the work on display.

Swirls created Platform 4 as a centre for developing educational potential for the community with children as the focus.
