Ellie’s standing strong

editorial image

BALLET, gymnastics,
puppetry and drama were all on the bill when Princethorpe College held its annual talent show last month. Altogether, 22 acts drawn from all the school’s year groups took part in the event, that raised £540 for charity.

The winner was 12-year-old Ellie Ramsay, who sang her own song, Stand Strong.

The judging panel, headed by deputy headteacher Sue Millest, was astonished by Ellie’s voice and creativity.

Ellie took home a £50 voucher and nominated eating distorder charity BEAT as the cause to which proceeds would be donated.
