IT’S name is French for ‘so-so’, but the Gallic couple behind a new Old Town patisserie are hoping it elicits more than a shrug.

Sébastien and Céline Vermant of Comme Ci, Comme Ça in High Street import all their ingredients to give their food that authentic je ne sais quoi.

The couple had previously run a business in Lille, where Sébastien was a pastry chef, but moved to England in search of open minds, and will soon open a coffee shop in Warwick.

Céline said: “If you go to France you will find exactly the same taste.”
