Join choirs for carols at Warwick Castle tomorrow
CAROLS will once again herald in the Christmas week at Warwick Castle tomorrow night (Saturday).
This year’s Carols at the Castle, which is supporting the Warwick Lions Club, Rotary Club of Warwick and Friends of St Mary’s Choir, will include performances by the Choirs of St Mary’s Church in Warwick and the Royal Spa Brass band.
The choirs, made up of schoolchildren and adult volunteers, have performed in the USA and across Europe, while they also regularly broadcast on BBC radio and television.
The carols will begin at 7.30pm on the East Front of the castle and gates open at 6.45pm. Tickets cost £7 or £1 for under-12s, with proceeds going to the three causes being supported by the event, which is being sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover, Phillips 66/Jet, National Grid and marketing firm LMMC.
They are available at the castle ticket office between 9am and 5pm and at the Warwick Tourist Information Centre in Jury Street, Warwick, both in person and via telephone on 492212. Alternatively, book online at www.carolsatwarwickcastle.co.uk/bookings
