Sainsbury’s bears team show they care

MANAGERS from various Sainsbury’s stores showed they can be both beasts in the boardroom and caring fundraisers in a recent charity challenge.

The 12-strong Care Bears team from Midlands stores, including Warwick and Leamington, were given an Apprentice-style task to prepare and sell 330 cupcakes for their chosen charity.

Team members also contacted businesses to see if they were willing to donate to the cause and donned costumes to collect donations from Sainsbury’s customers.

In less that ten hours they raised £2,520 for Children in Need.
