DASHING fundraisers will don Father Christmas costumes in aid of The Myton Hospices in the coming weeks.

The 5k Santa Dashes will take place at the Warwick hospice in Myton Lane and at St Nicholas Park on Sunday December 16 and Coventry Memorial Park on Sunday November 25.

Entry costs £10 and includes a free Santa suit.

Thousands of pounds were raised for the charity at the Warwick site’s annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday.

The event made a total of £6,148 with the bottle tombola alone making £6,148.

Events manager Charlotte Ingram thanked everyone who came along, donated prizes and volunteered.
