Shadow was a star for Children in Need

SHADOW the dog had no problem sitting in the cold to help his owner raise hundreds of pounds for Children in Need.

Brian Atkins spent four and a half hours over three days sat on a bench in the Parade and collected £441 by asking for donations in exchange for a pat of his Alaskan Malamute husky,

Mr Atkins has thanked everyone who made a donation for their generosity.
