Career and training advice for people interested in childcare will be on hand at a free open evening in Sydenham.
The event at the Sydni Centre in Marloes Walk will include a presentation about the options available.

Participants will learn about the different roles to play in the childcare centre in nurseries, in pre-school playgroups, out of school clubs, crèches or by working independently as registered childminders.

Warwickshire County Council's early years adviser Ruth Holwell said: "Working in early years childcare is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs you can do and there is a growing need for dedicated people to carry out this vital role."

Refreshments will be provided at the event to be held on April 30 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Anyone who is unable to attend but would like more information about a career in childcare should contact Ms Holwell on 742220 or visit:
