Classic sportscar owners have rated a Warwickshire B road among the ten best in the country - alongside such legendary drives as the Snake Pass and the Isle of Man TT course.
Owners of Caterham Seven cars rated the B4100 from Warwick to Banbury number eight in a poll to find the top ten driving roads, judging it "a superb alternative to the M40".
The road, which starts at junction 13 of the M40 and runs through woods and villages to Banbury, received 11.6 per cent of votes from 1,700 drivers of the open-topped model, designed by Lotus founder Colin Chapman in 1957.

hereThe leafy Warwickshire route nestled among many legendary UK upland passes in the list. Number one with almost a quarter of votes was the "tarmac rollercoaster" of the Snake Pass, which crosses the Pennines from Sheffield to Glossop.
Next came the A537 'Cat and Fiddle' road from Macclesfield to Buxton and the mountain section of the A18 on the Isle of Man, which has no speed limit.
The clockwise section of the M25 between Junction 5 and 21 was voted the worst by almost a third of those quizzed.
The M1 came second and the M6 past Birmingham third, described as "a slow crawl past a grey town".
Caterham Cars sales and marketing director Andy Noble said: "Due to the large amount of congestion motorists now face, it is often easy to forget how enjoyable driving can be.
"But turn off from the beaten track and there are plenty of roads that remind us that driving is still a privilege."
