Fashion-conscious women on a budget around Leamington now have a new store to buy low-cost designer wear.
While clearing out their wardrobes, Louise Kennedy and Annabel Jones realised that they had a lot of unwanted items that were worth selling.
Ms Jones said: "Several items had never been worn which means you're losing a lot of money.
"Lots of our friends were in the same predicament and nobody feels like spending much at the moment."
The pair's idea led to their opening second-hand store Swapaholic, which opened on April 25.
Ms Jones, who currently runs a property development firm, said: "A lot of the clothes we have received so far are still tagged.
"The difference from a regular shop is that our stock is not coming from one place – the people who supply us are all different individuals."
As well as women's clothes, the store, which is above Bonita hair salon in Warwick Street, can accept bags, shoes and accessories.
Ms Jones added: "They don't need to be designer, but they need to be current, fashionable and in season.
"People love making their pounds go further.
"They can also buy an outfit one week and sell it on the next week, which means that Leamington may do a little bit to get the whole economy moving."
