PARISH CHURCH: Sunday's service will be Eucharist with baptism at 10am.
Everyone is welcome.
METHODIST CHAPEL: Morning service on Sunday at 10.30am will be led by Mr P Ashton.

COFFEE MORNING: Coffee and biscuits will be served between 10.15am and midday at Friday's weekly coffee morning at the Methodist Sunday School Room on High Street.
Everyone welcome. Next Friday (October 12) light lunches will be served from midday.

DASSETT SCHOOL: Year six hold their class assembly next Friday, October 12 at 9.15am. All parents and friends welcome.

OVER SIXTIES CLUB: The over sixties club meets at the village hall at 2.30pm on Tuesday. Everyone welcome.

WOMEN'S INSTITUTE: This month's meeting is on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the village hall. For further information please contact Mrs June Cotterill on 01295 770214.

VILLAGE HALL NEWS: A variety of events are planned at the village hall over the coming weeks:
Fenny Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday,October 13. Enjoy a beer, sausage and boogie to local rock band Hypernaut. Doors open at 7.30pm.

Tickets available from any member of the village hall committee, the post office or call Suzanne on 01295 770243.
Children's disco on November 16. Details to be confirmed soon.
Christmas wreath workshop on Friday, November 30 between 7pm and 9pm.

Children's Christmas party on December 22.

New Year's Eve family party by popular request. More details nearer the time.

PILATES: Pilates classes run every week on Mondays from 2pm to 3pm, and Thursdays from 8.15pm to 9.15pm at the village hall. Cost is £4.50 per class. The classes are suitable for beginners and those with some experience, and will be run on a pay-as-you-go basis by qualified instructor Clare Everest. Please bring a mat or towel to lie on.

RECYCLING COLLECTION: Green wheelie bins and black boxes will be emptied on Monday. Please put them out by 7am.

YOUTH GROUP: First Mates youth group meets on Thursday evening from 6.30pm until 8pm in the village hall. All ten to fourteen year-olds welcome.

TOTS AND TODDLER GROUP: Tots and Toddlers meets each Wednesday from 9am until midday in the village hall. All babies and toddlers with their parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to drop in for play, chat and refreshments. Please contact Sam on 01295 770611 for more information.
