Leamington mayor David Greenwood has lived up to his name by opting for an environmentally-friendly Toyota Prius as his new mayoral car.
It switches between a conventional petrol engine and an electric one, depending on conditions, and has some of the lowest emissions of any car.

The decision was made at a meeting of Leamington Town Council on Tuesday.

Coun Bill Gifford (Lib Dem, Milverton) said: “This is sending out the right sort of message.”
