EARTHWORMS inspired children who have been praised for helping to improve the environment.
Harbury Primary School has been awarded an International Eco-Schools Green Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education.

Recycling boxes are placed around the school and the ‘Earthworms’ groups make sure the school and its grounds are kept in a good condition. Deputy headteacher, Nigel Chapman, said: “The children work very hard in a whole range of areas to develop the environment.

“The children’s work is supported by a very enthusiastic group of parents, who help with the heavy work around the school. We are very proud that our efforts have been recognised through this award.”
