On Sunday, June 8, the Rotary Club of Kenilworth will be staging the 26th Two Castles Run from Warwick to Kenilworth.
A total of 2,500 competitors will run the 10kms making the event the largest sporting event in Kenilworth.

Over 5,000 people will populate the Kenilworth Castle grounds at the finish. The event raised over £50,000 last year for charity.

To ensure safety for the runners, on police advice a number of roads around the Castle will be closed from 9am for approximately 90 minutes.
Rotary club members will have delivered letters with full details to residents who live in the roads affected. Diversions will be set up with clear signage to keep disruption to a minimum.

However, the club is mindful of the recent and ongoing diversions around the town associated with civil works.

We ask for your patience on this occasion and hope as in the past residents will agree the event is a flagship occasion for the town and cooperate with us.

We believe the money raised and the opportunity the event gives to such a large number of people to compete in a quality event is worth the short disruption. - Robert Kelly, Press officer The Rotary Club of Kenilworth.
