THE sad saga of Dr Raj Mattu has gone on for almost a decade now and it is easy to forget many of the events that have occurred throughout the relentless pursuit of him by trust managers and their cronies.
They have wasted probably £5 million of our money on a campaign to demonise and destroy Dr Mattu after he blew the whistle.

Is it any wonder that doctors in Staffordshire and elsewhere are too frightened to come forward and stick their necks out for the NHS?
Thankfully the GMC investigated all the rumours and completely exonerated Dr Mattu.

There should now be an open and transparent public inquiry into this whole sordid affair. - Peter Cochrane, Spencer Avenue, Coventry.
