Can you help clean up Warwick for a morning?

Volunteers are needed to give Warwick a final spruce-up ahead of a visit from Heart of England In Bloom judges.

Town councillor Mandy Littlejohn, who is chairman of community and culture, has just orgsanised a working holiday for three teenage volunteers from Warwick who will spend the summer in Germany as part of town twinning.

But now she is on the look out for more home-grown volunteers.

She said: “I could really do with some guerilla gardeners to help me weed and litter pick ahead of the judges coming to inspect the town. We won gold last year and need to do at least as well again this time.”

Anyone able to help is asked to turn up at Warwick bus station at 10am next Sunday, July 20.
