A trip down royal memory lane at Coventry gallery

A FREE family reminiscence and craft event which encourages people to share their memories of past royal occasions will be held at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum on Saturday May 19.

A Right Royal Celebration, taking place between 2pm and 4pm, hopes to inspire families to bring any royal objects they own to the Herbert, to join along with the museum’s collection, to provoke stories and memories that the adults can tell the children.

In the second half of the session, families will each be able to make a special commemorative item for the Diamond Jubilee to take home.

The session is suitable for those aged seven or over.
