LEAMINGTON-born author Harriet Castor will be discussing the triggers that turned Henry VIII from a handsome young prince to a tyrannical king in a talk in Warwick on Wednesday.

The writer will be giving a talk about her first novel for teenagers VIII for Warwick Books at the Lord Leycester Hospital from 7pm to 9pm.

From a family of historians including the presenter of the recent BBC2 series She Wolves Helen Castor, Harriet is apssionate about making history accessible and compares Henry VIII with Anakin Skywalker.

Warwick Books chose VIII as one of its books of the year in 2011.
