HELP is needed by a certain sailor called Sinbad to find the Princess Yasmin.

he hero’s quest takes place at Cubbington village hall for two weekends only, when he will sail the seven seas, fight the evil Zanzibar, encounter marauding pirates and magical creatures - all in the space of a few hours.

Members of the village’s amateur dramatics group, the Cubbington Players, who put together this post-season pantomime, are promising laughter, drama, action and adventure - as well as a few ‘will they, won’t they’ moments thrown in for good measure.

Co-producer Cath Staton said: “Rehearsals are going well with lots of fun and laughter and we are all looking forward to sharing this with our audiences. So come along and join all the usual noise and banter of the pantomime season.”

The show will take the stage at the village hall in Broadway, Cubbington, on Friday January 27, Saturday January 28, Friday February 3, Saturday February 4 and Sunday February 5 at 7.30pm and on Sunday January 29 and Sunday February 5 at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £6 (£4.50 children and concessions). Call 887844.
