CORSETS, killer heels and stockings worn on burlesque stars direct from London’s West End will becoming to Leamington this month.

An Evening of Burlesque, the UK’s first and only touring burlesque show, will be performed at the Spa Centre on Saturday May 19 at 7.30pm.

Michael Taylor, producer of this show and others including The Magic of Motown and Thank You for the Music, said: “An Evening of Burlesque features an all-star cast of beautiful and elegant performers.

“Sparkling with couture costumes recalling the golden eras of burlesque, it’s the most glamorous show on tour.

“Its success is due to a combination of sultry vocals, breathtaking choreography, mischief, magic, frivolity and fun.

“It’s all tease, no sleaze and for that reason audiences are predominantly female.

“There’s a thriving burlesque scene in London’s West End and we’re proud to be bringing the cream of burlesque talent to a far wider audience.”

Stars of An Evening of Burlesque include leading lady and vocalist Amber Topaz, compere Kiki Kaboom, winner of the Burlesque Idol competition Miss Hotcake Kitty and classical pianist Chrys Columbine. Also performing will be Slinky Sparkles as seen on ITV and BBC and renowned for her Monroe-esque curves, Audacity Chutzpah the award-winning clown queen of burlesque, AJ James who balances while knife juggling and Kalki Hula Girl who is said to steal the show with explosive hula-hoop performances.
