Popular indie rock band The Subways are playing a gig at the Kasbah in Coventry next week to mark the launch of their new single Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

The band gained a loyal cult following at the Reading and Leeds festivals, at which they attracted a crowd large enough to fill the second stage tent beyond capacity. They are now main stage regulars.

Their debut album, Young For Eternity, was certified gold in January 2007 for 100,000 units shipped.

The gig takes place on Thursday.
