Leading local agent, Locke and England has joined forces with some of the country’s top estate agents to host the annual National Property Showcase campaign, predicted to attract and match up thousands of eager buyers and sellers across the UK.

In addition to offering a suite of exclusive competitive and exclusive mortgage products to buyers, investors and homemovers in the West Midlands and Warwickshire, Locke and England will be inviting customers to participate in a unique showcase event in London and what’s expected to be the largest ever National Open House Weekend.

In its second year, the National Property Showcase event takes place between 12-7pm on Thursday May 10 at the Millennium Mayfair Hotel, London, showcasing thousands of UK properties currently on the market.

Hundreds of keen investors and buyers are expected to converge in the capital for the event, and experts from the property, finance and insurance industry will be on hand at the event to answer any property-related questions and provide free advice. Seminars will be held throughout the day with topics including the buy-to-let market and the overseas property market.

Over 17,000 properties took part in last year’s campaign, attracting a range of visitors, from first-time buyers and couples seeking their next home to small scale buy-to-let investors and large scale foreign investors looking to build UK property portfolios worth over £500m. As a result, over 31,000 viewings took place and over 2,000 properties were successfully sold.

Locke and England will also participate in a National Open House Weekend on May 12 and 13. As part of the event, thousands of homeowners across the country will open their doors to prospective buyers, with the benefit of being able to organise multiple viewings, rather than trying to cram appointments into their busy weekday lifestyles. Buyers can register their interest with the agent to obtain a password to use at viewings.

Throughout the campaign, Locke and England Mortgage Consultants will also be offering a suite of mortgage deals with the aim to help all buyers take advantage of the current opportunities to snap up a property bargain. The exclusive products, including specialist buy-to-let deals and high LTV offers are available via Countrywide consultants nationwide. Additionally, innovative first-time buyer offers are also available, launched to ease the impact of the recent stamp duty holiday changes. These include competitive 90 per cent LTV deals, with 50 per cent towards the stamp duty paid by the lender, potentially saving buyers £1,250 in costs.

Lee Wainwright, MD for Locke and England and Dixons Estate Agents said: “As the leading agent in the West Midlands and Warwickshire we are committed to helping local sellers find buyers. The National Property Showcase and Open House Weekend are more opportunities designed to help our sellers get their properties in front of serious buyers.

“Last year’s events were a huge success and we are delighted to be taking part again. As a result of taking part in last year’s showcase, we increased the amount of leads and interest to our sellers’ properties and eager buyers were given the opportunity to view the properties, get finance advice and ultimately purchase a property.

“We anticipate a large amount of interest in the properties we currently have for sale, especially in the popular areas of Warwick and Leamington, where buyer demand has soared.

“We’re also thrilled to be able to offer our customers access to a range of exclusive mortgage products, developed specifically to help first-time buyers, investors and buyers. So whether you’re a seller and are looking to showcase your property at the event or you’re a buyer wanting to register your interest or enquire about the mortgage products available, contact your local branch and we’ll be happy to help.”
