Two arrests were made after police stopped a car in Leamington and found a "significant amount" of suspected drugs.

Officers made the discovery after they were given reason to stop a green Vauxhall Astra in Buckley Road yesterday afternoon.

During a subsequent search, a large number of packages were found. The haul has been sent for forensic examination.

A 25-year-old man from Leamington and a 34-year-old woman from Birmingham were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. They are being questioned today.
