A dedicated fundraiser from Barford has been killed while cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End.
Graham Lees, managing director of Banbury company Cotswold Lifts, was raising money for Warwickshire and Northampstonshire Air Ambulance by cycling the route for the second time.
The 48-year-old was killed near Taunton, Somerset, on the A38 on October 2 after being in collision with two vehicles at around 5.45pm.
He was just 150 miles short of his destination.
Mr Lees' company has said: "Graham Lees, managing director of Cotswold Lifts, based in Banbury, died on the final days of his John O' Groats to Land's End charity cycle ride to raise money for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
"With many years experience in the lift industry and with a first degree in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in lift engineering he will be sorely missed by family, friends and colleagues, not least for his irreverent sense of humour.
"His interests were many - including flying, motor biking and raising money for charity.
"He was very proud to have raised £10,0000 for Breast Cancer Care, a cause very close to home.
"He leaves a widow and two teenage children."
Mr Lees was again trying to raise £10,000 for his Breast Cancer Care and since the news of his death more than £1,000 has been donated through his online Justgiving page.
He took the same route the other way round two years ago to raise money for the cause after his wife was twice diagnosed with the disease.
