Morning rain gave way to glorious sunshine as 1,500 people visited Avon Dassett's annual fete on Saturday.
Ferret races, welly-wanging and dog shows were among the attractions. Volunteer organiser Jonathan Glasspool attributed the fete's popularity this year to an increase in families seeking traditional entertainment for good value.
He said: "This was a record year for fundraising, and all the proceeds go to local charities. It was just really enjoyable."
