Tackling fires, floods and chemical spillages are some of the daily challenges firefighters in and around Warwick-shire have to face.
And now they are looking for anyone who thinks they have what it takes to join their team.

Stations at Fenny Compton, Kenilworth, Southam, Warwick and Wellesbourne are short of retained firefighters.

The job will not be full-time but workers should be ready to face any emergency and are usually called out two to three times a week for a couple of hours.

Full training will be provided and applicants will be expected to be fit and healthy, live or work within a short distance from the station and be flexible about working hours.

For more details and an application pack visit www.warwickshire.gov.uk/fireandrescue, call 738500 or email recruitment@warwickshire.gov.uk
