Missing - have you seen Alfie and Sally
A distraught dog owner is offering a cash reward to anyone who finds her two Lakeland terriers.
Alfie and Sally have been missing since last Wednesday (March 19).
Fiona Joyce from Warwick was out walking them in the fields at the end of Guys Cliffe Avenue, Leamington, but hasn't seen them since they followed their noses into a bush and failed to reappear.
She said: "We have contatced the police and dog wardens and have been putting posters up and leaflets in doors. What really worries us is that someone has found them and hasn't handed them in.
"We really are worried that someone is going to keep them. What we need to do is make public the fact that they are missing so that someone will say something.
"I have two children aged 12 and 13 and we are all devastated. We just want our dogs back."
Mrs Joyce believes someone may be looking after the dogs, which have both being microchipped to enable wardens to return them to the family.
She added: "It's the not knowing that is the worse thing.
"If we had a phone call or something then at least we could deal with it and move on. It's horrible. The house is so quiet without them."
Anyone who has seen the dogs or has them should hand them into the local vet or police station and contact Fiona on 499858.
