Leamington police are investigating a sex attack on a 17-year-old girl early this morning (Monday).
The victim was grabbed from behind as she walked along Leicester Street, close to the junction with Black Lane, between midnight and 1am.
A spokeswoman said the investigation was at a "very early stage" and appealed for information from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious.
They should call Det Supt Bruce Irving on 415000 ex 11926, or Crimestoppers, where information can be given anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
