Hammer-wielding robbers made off with cash after holding up a Lillington bookmakers.
Two men are believed to have entered Coral racing in Crown Way on Saturday at 4.30pm and threatened the staff with a hammer, demanding cash from the till.
They were last seen running off in the direction of the Walnut Tree pub on the corner of Cubbington Road.
Police are keen to identify two men in connection with the robbery.
The first is described as white, in his 20s, and 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a black hooded top which was pulled up over his head, a beige jacket and jeans.
The second is described as white, with short brown hair and slim build, in his early 20s or younger, and 5ftins to 5ft 9ins tall.
Dark-framed sunglasses and a dark bandana or t-shirt covered his face, and he was wearing a long-sleeved cream sweatshirt, blue jeans and white trainers with a dark 'Nike' logo.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen these men entering or leaving the premises.
