Around 100 children attended a charity horse riding event in Shrewley on June 25, writes Ro Wilkinson.
Entrants travelled from across the county to take part in dressage competitions and games in aid of Riding for the Disabled, a charity which has more than 500 branches across the UK.

The event was organised by Rosemary Stretch chairman of the Warwickshire branch and stable owner Roseanne Pudden.

Warwickshire press officer Deirdre Shields said: "Riders and their families get huge achievement from it and the biggest thrill for everyone and what makes it all worthwhile is seeing their huge grins.

"Individual groups are always looking for volunteers, who are able to give up one hour a week to help us, or donations, which will help us to work with more riders. "
