More than £2,000 was raised for a road safety charity in memory of a Kineton woman who was killed in a car crash in Lighthorne Road.
Kelly Marsh, 20, of Butlers Marston, died in November 2005 when her friend Helen Atkinson crashed the car they were in while Ms Atkinson was over the legal alcohol limit.

Her mother Jane has since supported a petition last year by road safety charity Brake for 20mph safety zones and high-visibility warning signs around schools and homes. The petition was taken to Westminster in November during National Road Safety Week.

Her surviving daughter Aneata and friends took part in a 'zip slide' at Birmingham City football stadium on May 3 in memory of Miss Marsh.

Mrs Marsh said: "We will hold the love and support given to us in our hearts always. It is not too late to donate."
