Flood warnings have been issued for Warwick on Thursday afternoon, with people urged to take care when travelling.

The county has been hit by road closures, rescues and delays as rivers burst their banks following heavy rain earlier in the week.

And drivers are being urged to take care this afternoon with more disruption expected for late in the afternoon.

A statement said: “There is further potential flooding in Stratford upon Avon and Warwick on Thursday 10 March between 4pm to 7pm.

“Warwickshire County Council already has a significant presence with Highways Crews responding to issues across the county.”
