Body found in search for missing Leamington man
Police searching for missing 70-year-old William Haines (pictured above) from Leamington have found a body off the Dorset coast.
The formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Haines’s family are aware and the Dorset coroner has been contacted. The circumstances are not believed to be suspicious. Mr Haines left his home on Sunday (June 15) and Warwickshire Police put out an appeal on Tuesday, believing he may have travelled to the Dorset area in a grey Skoda Octavia. Police would like to thank everyone who shared the Courier’s Facebook appeals, website stories and tweets during the week.
