The MP for Kenilworth and Southam, Jeremy Wright, is said to be ‘fine’ after a shooting outside Parliament in Westminster this afternoon (Wednesday March 22).

The House of Parliament are currently in lockdown after a man reportedly wielding a knife was said to have been shot by armed officers.

A spokesman for Mr Wright could not confirm whether he was still in Parliament, but said he was safe.
