FINGER puppets, bracelets, masks and notebooks were among the innovative products pitched to the market by young enterpreneurs at Southam Primary School.

Key stage two pupils, taking part in ‘enterprise week’ before half term, were given £20 per class to buy materials to craft their items, which they then had to sell to fellow pupils, family and friends at a market at the end of the week.

Year five pupil Jack said: “I really enjoyed enterprise week because I learnt a lot about making masks and I liked selling things to other people.”

Each class was able to keep the profits they made and the children are now looking forward to spending their hard-earned cash on supplies for their classrooms.
