IMAGE consultant Lyn Bromley has received an award for outstanding business growth following the success of her Warwick-based business, First Impressions.

The managing director and mother-of-one worked as a corporate and personal image coach before taking over the company 18 months ago and expanding it to reach out to new clients living as far away as China.

At the Women Inspiring Women Awards, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Birmingham, 42-year-old Lyn was recognised for her achievements over the past year.

She is currently developing a programme for schools which she hopes will help young people feel more comfortable with their body images.

First Impressions, which is based at Gallows Hill, was originally established in 1984 and part of a leading international image consultancy advising and training both individuals and companies.

Lyn, who lives in Wellesbourne, said: “I’d like to thank all my colleagues, friends, family and my very supportive husband Nigel.

“I am passionate about giving people body confidence - when we look good on the outside it helps you feel good on the inside - people should pay as much attention to their own ‘branding’ as they do to their technical skills.”

The black-tie awards dinner was sponsored by the networking for women group, Damsels in Success.
