Warwickshire-based PR and digital marketing agency Red Marlin has snapped up another global automotive business.

Alloy wheel protection system manufacturer AlloyGator has appointed the agency to handle its communications in the UK, helping it to recruit quality fitters to its growing distribution network, as well as create even more demand from discerning motorists looking to protect their vehicles.

Red Marlin managing director Danny Rughoobeer said: “I don’t think there’s anyone who’s driven a car who hasn’t sat in the driver’s seat and cringed as they hear that awful sound of their alloy wheel being scuffed or scraped along a kerb.

“So, to have been selected by the world’s leading company in preventing this type of vehicle damage really is an exciting prospect for us.

“AlloyGator has a really great product, along with ambitious plans for the business and we’re looking forward to playing a pivotal role in helping them achieve these aims.”

The appointment by AlloyGator comes at a period of growth for Red Marlin, which has added several other automotive businesses to its roster in 2016, created two new roles and relocated to larger premises within Leamington Spa.

The agency offers a range of PR, marketing and social media services to businesses in the automotive and related industries.

Its other clients include two classic car auction houses, a major UK insurer and the UK’s leading supplier of automotive LPG.
