The owners of a missing dog have praised the community spirit in their town, after being overwhelmed by support from local people, in spite of being new to the area.

A team of people from all over Warwickshire have stepped up and offered help to the Satchell family, who recently relocated from Chiswick, West London. The family was settling into their new life in the area when their beloved pet went missing. Two-year-old Reggie is a male Lucas Terrier and went missing from Old Budbrooke Road on Thursday January 7.

His owners said as Reggie isn’t yet familiar with the area, and with the cold weather setting in, the search is becoming more urgent.

Trisha Shaw from DogLost has been leading the search, supported by Warwick-based marketing agency Spaghetti Agency, who have ensured the message has been delivered to over 100,000 people in the area through social media.

Trisha says: ‘We suspect Reggie has been using the canal path, and we have a confirmed sighting of him at Princes Drive.” Those with any information about Reggie’s whereabouts are asked to call 07725 764376 or 07949 038552. Or contact DogLost on 0844 800 3220 quoting reference 242652. There is a reward for information leading to Reggie’s return.
