Tennis-lovers are asked to remember a popular tennis coach and help raise funds at the annual Cooper Cup.

The competition is held at Kenilworth Tennis Club each year in memory of James Cooper, who was killed in America in 2011.

Held on July 11, a barbecue and raffle will all help boost funds for Always a Chance, a charity set up in memory of James and his friend James Kouzaris who lost their lives in a shooting while on holiday.

Players can now sign up on the notice boards at the club.

Adults start at 2.30pm with £10 entry, juniors at Beechwood from 2pm with £5 entry.

The barbecue and social activities start at the Crackley Lane club from 4.30pm.

Raffle donations are welcome. Tickets are from Anne Holmes anne_holmes@tiscali.co.uk

A separate fundraiser for James Kouzaris is being held in Northampton. Visit the news page here to find out more.
