Friends group plant tree for Whitnash people

A plaque stating ‘For the people of Whitnash’ has been erected on an oak tree which has recently been planted in Acre Close park in Whitnash by the Friends of Acre Close, along with a new bench alongside.

Group chairman Lynne Gougeon said: “We hope over the years many people will enjoy sitting under it, watching the world go by.” Friends members are pictured with Whitnash mayor Robert Margrave.
