The gang, who were carrying a crow bar, were caught on CCTV entering the store by unknown means at about 10pm and stole between £30,000 and £40,000 from the tills.

The supermarket in Chesteron Drive was closed to customers but staff were still working there.

None of them came into contact with the offenders.

Police were called at 5.55am on Monday morning.

There is yet to be an appeal for witnesses but the incident is being investigated by Warwickshire CID with help from Asda’s own investigation team.
