Get involved with showcase garden

Businesses have the chance to find out about an ambitious project to showcase Leamington at the world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

They are invited to attend the next meeting of the Leamington branch of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to gain an insight into the garden being created for this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

Award-winning floral designer Sarah Horne and garden designer Debbie Cooke have joined forces to come up with the design which is being supported by BID Leamington.

Stephanie Kerr, executive director of BID Leamington, has been invited to speak at the breakfast meeting being held at Mallory Court on Friday February 14.

As we have previously reported, work is underway to create the garden to be unveiled at Chelsea in May before being given a permanent home in Leamington’s Pump Room Gardens, which celebrate its 200th anniversary this year.

The exhibit will combine the floral and garden design skills of Sarah and Debbie to reflect the town’s historic association with beautiful gardens and horticulture as well as its Regency heritage, river and lakes.

Stephanie said: “I am delighted to be speaking about the project to the local business community. We are keen to get the whole of Royal Leamington Spa involved and businesses play an essential role in the town so this is a great opportunity to share the project with them and invite their support.”

Businesses wishing to attend the meeting, which will run from 7.45-9.30am, can contact [email protected].
