Our reporter spotted the DeLorean DMC-12 parked outside the offices of accountancy firm Burgis & Bullock in Waterloo Place as part of a launch event just minutes ago and took this picture.

The car is famed for being used as the time travel machine in the popular 1980s and 1990s Back to the Future science-fiction comedy adventures which cover the exploits of teenager Marty McFly, played by Michael J Fox, and his eccentric scientist friend Dr Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown, played by Christopher Lloyd, as they attempt to repair ‘damage’ done to history.

Unfortunately, neither Marty nor the Doc were anywhere to be seen.

Maybe they had somewhere they needed to be?
