Knights process to Warwick church for anniversary service

The Knights of the Holy Sepulchre - who have their roots in medieval times but were refounded 60 years ago - came to Warwick last Friday for a service to mark their anniversary.

Warwick mayor Moira-Ann Grainger was able to meet HE Dr David LG Smith (right), Lieutenant of the Equestrian Order of the world-wide group, along with other leading figures.

The order was started during the Crusades to the Holy Land and now has its headquarters in Rome.

Membership internationally is estimated to be 23,000 men and women.
