Burglars strike Kenilworth homes again

Burglars have targeted Kenilworth once again this month after three separate incidents were all recorded in just one day.

The first occurred in the early hours of Thursday July 21. Offenders managed to enter the home on Lower Ladyes Hill and stole two sets of vehicle keys that were left in the hall.

They were used to steal the two vehicles that were parked on the driveway.

In Dudley Road, at some point before 3.30pm on the same day offenders managed to break in and stole an iPad from an upstairs bedroom.
Finally, a small front window was removed by offenders from a house in Ferndale Drive, although they did not take anything from the house.

A spokesman for Kenilworth Neighbourhood Watch said: “Quick thinking and communication with the police raises the potential for offenders to be caught.

“The more that happens in Kenilworth the less criminals will choose our town as a target.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident numbers 124 for Lower Ladyes Hill, 234 for Dudley Road and 241 for Ferndale Drive, all of July 21.
