The driver of this car (pictured) was luckily unhurt after being involved in a crash with another car and a van and trailer near Warwick.

He was trapped in the Peugeot that ended up between a Land Rover towing a trailer and a van towing a trailer, following the collision, which occured in Hockley Road in Shrewley yesterday (Thursday) just before 8.45am.

Ambulance crews, the police and the fire service were called to the scene to find the driver, a man in his 30s, trapped in the car with pains in his arm and neck. The other drivers were also unhurt.

An ambulance spokesman said: “Because of the amount of damage done to the car, we played it safe and, with the help of the fire service, he was freed, immobilised and taken to Warwick Hospital for further checks.”
